Magdalena’s and my paths crossed first when I, as one of the first employees of our newly formed creative consultancy, had the unusual opportunity to be actively involved in hiring my immediate supervisor. I am really glad we made the right choice with her.
Magdalena showed me what great leadership is actually about. From the first day on, she was able to bring the UX team together, create a shared vision for the team and setup and foster efficient design operations. I was amazed how she tackled also challenging and sensitive topics, especially long-term activities where there was a good strategy needed.
Whenever I faced a difficult situation with a client or got stuck on a complex design decision, I could count on Magdalena. What I valued the most was, that she provided me with advice without taking over the situation, giving me the possibility to learn and grow from the challenge I was facing. That way I always felt empowered and encouraged to tackle any kind of challenges. In the day to day operations Magdalena gave me a lot of freedom and trust in how I structure my workday or lead the projects, which is not always a given when it comes to superiors.
Especially the times when we collaborated directly together on a project I got to see her large set of skills and experience in action, particularly on software development and digital transformation. She is excellent in front of an executive team and working on high level product direction, but also great hands-on, and everything in between.
The great team culture we have within our UX team now, we only have because Magdalena created and fostered it as soon as she started working with us. Even with the rapid growth of the UX team from 4 to 8 designers within a year she maintained such a wonderful work environment within the team. By shaping consistent and natural routines for sharing, learning, skills development and reflection, it is thanks to Magdalena that our UX team is collaborating so smoothly and delivering such awesome results. She saw everybody's strengths and weaknesses and encouraged and showed my teammates and me how to improve our weaknesses and how to strategically use our strengths.
The very fast-paced environment of the agency also brought many challenges with it. Magdalena was initiating great ideas to bring the different teams together, creating service standards and introducing Agile Project Management. She always saw the bigger picture of our internal operations and was strategically improving them whenever possible.
I wish Magdalena all the best for any future endeavors. I know that with her professional, kind and positive being she will be a wonderful addition to any future setup.
I had the pleasure to collaborate with Magdalena for almost two years. During this time I witnessed her juggle both management and leadership responsibilities with great dedication and commitment. Among her many resources, she leveraged both micro- and macro- management tools to lead and coordinate her teams: thanks to her rich skillset, she has been able to gracefully adjust according to the working styles and maturity of different colleagues, to allow each and every team member not only to work to the best of their abilities, but also to grow and develop in their own unique way.

Magdalena is very smart and a quick learner, which made working together a real joy. Self-driven to learn, dives into all the aspects of the matter at hand, and is aware and alert of important details. Feels all natural and helps greatly in leading complex projects. Magdalena likes to see the big picture, and the end-to-end dimension of mapping out user journeys and matching designs. She actively seeks feedback from customers, stakeholders, and colleagues, and incorporates it in her work. Because of her open-mindness, she understands the why’s of the view points of her interaction partners, and because of her diplomatic firmness, she stands her ground if needed. Magdalena is a very motivated and organized person, working with her was amazing. She was always making sure that all the artifacts delivered to the development team pass a feedback process (customers, stakeholders, colleagues, etc ) and also if those were feasible according to the technologies that the development group was using. She is always looking for feedback and improvements. In my opinion, some of her strengths are teamwork, transparency, and collaboration.
